Distance Covered:

Had a good hour while the K1 open fleet was at lunch. Wind ended up W (most of the time) and was a good F5 at times - way more than BBC had forecast, but in line with Windguru WRF. Nicely powered on 5.7m and 90 litres. Quite a few lulls and messy chop stopped it being a classic, but great to be out.

An hour was enough given the chop - the wind shifts must have messed it up and I could not steer a smooth path through it. May look at changing my board as it tends to bang into the chop and footpads are thin.
